Shadow intensity is controlled by the difference in the background (black) and foreground(grey) of the image. The darker the grey, the less difference shown in game. It’s also controlled by the line stdMatAlphaMultiplier. Default values range from .5 to 1.0. I’ve used .15 as the lowest value and 3.o as the highest. The higher the value the more intense, darker the shadow is.
*note: This could possibly be affected by any post processing mods or if you use reshade to enhance shadows.
